Overall, a five-time All-America selection for West Chester University’s NCAA Division I field hockey program, she was a four-year letterwinner and team captain her senior season. She was a third team All-America pick by the College Field Hockey Coaches’ Association (CFHCA) in 1991, a first team pick in 1992 and a second team selection in 1993. She also earned All-America accolades from the U.S. Field Hockey Coaches in her junior and senior seasons, earning first team plaudits in 1992 and second team honors in 1993. She made the U.S. Under-21 national team in 1992 and Team USA in 1992, 1993 and 1994. She was inducted into the Upper Moreland High School Hall of Fame in 2012.
She earned her Ed.D in Education from Immaculata University in 2013 and has spent most of her professional life after field hockey working with at-risk youths, who have endured traumatic experiences, mental health challenges and substance abuse issues to find strength and courage as they work their way through these obstacles.
