A four-time NCAA champion, Dennis won back-to-back national titles in both the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly her sophomore and junior seasons while setting the NCAA Division II record in the 100 butterfly. She earned 16 NCAA All-America certificates in the pool during her four-year career. Dennis was a three-time PSAC Female Swimmer of the Year (2001, 2002, 2003) while leading the Golden Rams swim team to three consecutive conference crowns. She was also named WCU Female Athlete of the Year in both 2002 and 2003. Dennis held three school records and placed among the Top 10 in seven other categories upon her graduation. The Golden Rams' ladies never finished below sixth place at nationals during her tenure. Dennis was also inducted into her high school hall of fame in 2012.
