A three-time All-America honoree (once indoors and twice outdoors) and one of the West Chester University's all-time great jumpers, he still holds three individual school records and one school mark as a member of a relay. He won eight PSAC individual championships in four years (four indoors, four outdoors) and was named the PSAC Field Athlete of the Year during the 2007 PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. He was also a three-time NCAA East Region Field Athlete of the Year (twice indoors – 2006, 2007; once outdoors – 2007).
He ranks among the school’s Top 10 in six events indoors and six more outdoors. He signed a professional contract upon graduation and competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials in the Decathlon. He won the 2012 U.S. Indoor Heptathlon and finished 10th at the 2011 U.S. Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He also finished fourth at the 2011 U.S. Indoor Heptathlon. He currently teaches in the Avon Grove School District and coaches the high school’s track & field squad.
