The school’s all-time leading scorer upon graduation, Erika Baker tallied 314 career points on the strength of 191 goals and 123 assists during her stellar playing career. She was a 1993 All-America selection by two separate organizations (IWLCA and USWLCA) as well as the PSAC Athlete of the Year. Baker led West Chester University to three consecutive PSAC championships and helped the Golden Rams claim the ECAC Division II championship in 1991. Her school and conference records of 82 goals in a single season and 314 career points stood for more than a decade before being surpassed. She still stands fifth all-time in scoring in the PSAC and fourth all-time at WCU.

Erika Baker Frank is currently in her 15th year as head coach of the girls’ varsity lacrosse program at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pa. where she has tutored numerous academic All-Americans and sent players to Division I powers such as Duke, Virginia, Lafayette and Colgate, along with many other Division III powerhouses Middlebury, Trinity, Amherst and Bowdoin. During her tenure, she has guided The Shipley School to a number of conference championships, including the Friends Schools league title in 2007.
