The school’s all-time leading scorer, Heather Allgyer helped build West Chester University women’s soccer into the power that it is today. She was one of the program’s first bonafide stars and is the first women’s soccer player to be inducted into the WCU Athletics Hall of Fame. The NSCAA All-America selection her senior year holds the school record for both career goals (66) and career points (161). Her 29 career assists stood for an entire decade, before being surpassed in 2010. Her 66 career goals is also second all-time in the history of the PSAC.

The Lancaster, Pa., native was a three-time, first-team All-PSAC pick and the conference’s rookie of the year in 1996. Allgyer helped West Chester author an overall record of 53-21-2 (.711) between 1996-99 and make an appearance in the conference championship game twice during her four-year tenure.
