A two-sport athlete while at West Chester University, Kate Mulhern was a first-team All-America selection for the women’s lacrosse squad while also garnering second team All-Mid East Region accolades in field hockey. Mulhern copped seven letters in her two sports during her college career while also serving as team captain in both sports as well.

The Wallingford, Pa., native was a three-time All-PSAC selection on defense for the Golden Rams in women’s lacrosse, leading West Chester to four conference titles while racking up a perfect 26-0 record against conference opponents during her career. In field hockey, Mulhern played a part in West Chester’s back-to-back Atlantic 10 regular-season titles in 1998 and 1999. She was also an Atlantic 10 all-academic honoree and an ECAC Merit Award winner for her work in the classroom.
