A two-time national qualifier in 1983 and again in 1986 and three-time PSAC champion, she was one of West Chester University’s top gymnasts in the mid 1980s. She won consecutive PSAC championships in the all-around in 1984, 1985 and 1986 while placing 13th at nationals in the all-around in 1986. That followed an 11th place showing at nationals her freshman season. She also set the PSAC record on the floor exercise her sophomore year and won the PIAIW championship in 1983. She was the all-around champion at regionals her freshman year.
