Former head coach and assistant coach at West Chester University from 1973-2002. Earned his master's degree in 1981 from West Chester University. Put in 34 years coaching the game of football at his alma mater. He was appointed the 14th head coach at West Chester University in 1989 and held that position until his retirement in 2002. He won four PSAC East championships while earning division coach of the year honors four times. He was selected the Kodak Region 1 Coach of the Year in 1992; Kodak Region Coach of the Year Staff Member in 1986, 1987 and 1988. Sported an overall head coaching record of 91-69-1. Retired with the second-most wins in school history. Served as executive member of the Maxwell Club. Also served on the board of trustees of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
