Carter won two individual PSAC singles championships (1984 and 1986) while qualifying for the NCAA Tournament twice during his career. Twice, he was elected team MVP by his peers. Carter went undefeated in doubles competition, alongside his partner Mike Schnabley, in 1986. Together, the tandem were major contributors to West Chester University’s only two PSAC championship squads in 1984 and 1986.
