UNIONVILLE, Pa.- The West Chester University women's cross country team is set to return to the course on Saturday morning for the Golden Ram Invitational at Unionville High School beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Last Time Out
West Chester is back in action this week after a third-place finish in the Green Division race at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Kristina Tapia (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) and
Jessalyn Welsh (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) both finished in the top-10 in 22 minutes and 27 seconds and 22:50, respectively to pace the Golden Rams.
In Our Backyard
West Chester will compete in nearby Unionville for the second time this season after opening the season on the same course with a second-place finish led by an individual second-place finish by Tapia in 19:17.6.
Weather Report
There is a slight chance of rain in the early morning hours on Saturday; however, it is expected to clear up in time for the race at 9:30 a.m. with temperatures in the high 50s under likely cloudy skies.
Gearing Up
West Chester is rounding into form ahead of the PSAC Cross Country Championships in Edinboro on October 25, with the NCAA Regional Championships in Lock Haven to follow on November 8.
