Brittany Sicinski (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) scored a team-high 24 points lead to West Chester, but it would not be enough as the Golden Rams fell to Indiana (Pa.) 77-64 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) semifinal inside Hamer Hall on the campus of California University (Pa.) Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (21-7) were down by two at the 4:45 mark in the fourth quarter, but the Crimson Hawks responded, ending the game on a 20-9 nine for a 13-point victory. Crimson Hawks' Leslie Stapleton scored 23 of her game-high 33 points in the second half, including two 3-pointers during that stretch with the rest of the points (14) coming from the free throw line.
IUP (21-7) head into tomorrow for the PSAC Championship game tomorrow at 3 p.m. against the winner of West No. 1 California (Pa.) and East No. 2 Shippensburg.

Anna Kuntz (Camp Hill, Pa. / Trinity) recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. They began the game escaping the first quarter with a two-point lead and eventually head into halftime down a bucket.
Megan Smith added 14 points and seven rebounds. Zhane Brooks scored 12 points, while Carolyn Appleby poured on 10 points off the bench for Indiana (Pa.).
The team shot 71 percent from 3-point range (5-for-7) in the second half and free percentage of 88 percent for the game (22-for-25), while shutting out WCU from beyond-the-arc (0-for-7) in the whole second half.
West Chester now await its fate heading into tomorrow night as the NCAA Division II Women's basketball selection show gets set to kickoff at 10 p.m.
