Racial & Social Justice

Student-Athletes will be offered programming related to racial and social justice with a focus on equity and belonging through various SAS workshops and within leadership programming.  As well, The SAS program will often partner with offices on campus who focus on racial and social justice and how it relates to the student-athlete experience.

LGBTQ+

Student-Athletes will engage in programming related to the experience of the LGBTQ+ community in partnership with the Center for Trans and Queer Advocacy.   Programs will offer basic education and also provide resources and assistance for LGBTQ student-athletes.

Women & Gender Equity

Student-Athletes will be offered programming in collaboration with the Center for Women and Gender Equity that reflect the mission of that office: to actively promote and advocate for a campus community that values the safety, equality, and intellectual advancement of women and historically marginalized groups.
