Golden Rams Basketball Returns To Hollinger In December

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University announced Monday afternoon that Hollinger Field House's renovations to the basketball and volleyball court will be complete, and the Golden Rams' men's and women's basketball teams will be able to play its PSAC crossover games Dec. 2 and 3 back home in Hollinger.

Hollinger Field House, which had a geothermal pipe burst in September that flooded the court, will be back up and online the last week of November and first days of December. West Chester's men's and women's basketball teams will host Indiana (Pa.) and Seton Hill on Dec. 2 and 3, respectively, in the first action on the new floor.

Miller Flooring in West Chester, Pa., finished the renovations ahead of schedule, which allowed the Golden Rams to return to its friendly confines earlier than the Dec. 30 projected date. West Chester had been playing its home games at nearby Widener University's Schwartz Center, enjoying much success in its home away from home.

The Golden Rams' men's team will still play its next home game against Wilmington (Del.) at Widener University on Saturday at 3 p.m. However, that will be the final game inside the Schwartz Center. The women do not play at home again until Dec. 2 and 3.
