Joe Wright becomes the second straight West Chester Golden Rams football player and the third West Chester player overall to be named the PSAC East's offensive player of the week this year it was announced by the league Sunday.

Wright follows teammate D'Andre Webb from last week in putting up some eye-popping numbers. In the Rams' 49-8 win over Kutztown, Wright threw for a career high 385 yards and tied a school record with six touchdown passes. He went 19-for-27, connecting on just over 70 percent of his passes, and it marked the third time this year that Wright has thrown for over 300 yards. His 385 also marked the eighth-best single game performance in school history.

Mike Washington was named the PSAC East offensive player of the year on September 7.
