Fr., G Zach Bare (Reiserstown, Md./St. Paul's) was instant offense for the Golden Rams this week, averaging 18.67 points in three PSAC contests. In the first pair of conference matchups, Bare provided a team-high in the scoring column. In a loss at East Stroudsburg, the freshman contributed 24 points that included four 3-pointers. He followed up that performance with a team-high eight points in a loss at host Shippensburg as well. On Saturday, Bare registered 24 points once again to lift West Chester past Cheyney inside Hollinger Field House. He was second on the team in scoring, right behind teammate Tyrell Long’s career-high 26 points. Overall, the freshman knocked down 10 of 22 attempts from behind the arc, shooting 45 percent from downtown. The Maryland native also chipped in six rebounds, five assists, and a pair of steals for West Chester.Â
