West Chester’s Porscha Speller (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) was spectacular in a pair of home victories for the Golden Rams this week against Millersville and Lock Haven. Speller accumulated 27 points, 11 steals, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in the two PSAC East wins. The Lancaster native tied a team-high 14 points, while also registering eight steals, seven rebounds, and five assists against Lock Haven on Saturday. Speller’s eight steals finished tied for second in program history in a single contest. The junior guard is the first player to tally eight steals since Megan Stewart back in 2009. In a win over Millersville, she contributed 13 points to go along with three rebounds and three steals. The majority of her points came from the free throw line, going 9 of 12. Speller ranks sixth in the PSAC in both steals per contest (2.3) and assists (4.4).
