West Chester’s Charlie Rushing (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) was stellar this weekend, winning three of the four matches he competed in against Mercyhurst and Edinboro. On Saturday, the junior won both his doubles and singles match against Mercyhurst. Rushing alongside Aiden Henken captured a 9-7 victory over the Lakers. Later on, carried that success to his singles match where he defeated senior Joaquin Aguilera, 6-4, 3-6, 10 (11). The following day, Rushing registered a win in doubles with Henken once again. The duo provided the Golden Rams with an 8-5 win over Edinboro. In his last match, he would fall to two-time defending PSAC individual champion, Vitor Albanese at singles, 6-0, 6-2.
