For its first-place finish at the Browngolf Invitational this weekend, the entire West Chester University's women's golf squad earned the honor of being selected as the athletes of the week. The 12-team field with 68 golfers marks the largest tournament that West Chester has won in its history. Everyone played a role in their first victory since April 19, 2015 at LeMoyne College in Upstate New York. The Golden Rams managed to put their five golfers in the top 15 in the tournament. Juliarose Genuardi led the way by finishing fifth overall with a two-day total of 165 (83-82).

Angela Masseria placed ninth with a 168 (82-86), while Lacey Bensing was slated 12th individually with a 170 (87-83). Coming away 14th and 15th were Kate Clark (85-86) and Taylor Daskivich (87-85). In total, West Chester's highest score to count was an 87 on Friday and an 86 on Saturday. In all, only five of the 18 rounds by nine Golden Rams golfers were above 90. Meanwhile, there were four golfers who competed for West Chester that were unattached. Dominique Marchese provided a 178 (87-91) to place in the Top 20 for the tournament. Mary Kate Ridgway carded a 180 (87-93) for the 36 holes while Ashley Teufel shot a 182 (89-93). Casey Monaghan shot a 197 (96-101).
