Jarel Elder (Allentown, Pa. / Parkland) rushed for 148 yards on 25 carries and scored three TDs in a loss at Slippery Rock. In the second quarter, Elder found the end zone from three-yards out to even the game at seven apiece. Elder scored his final two TDs in the 4th quarter when the Golden Rams erased a 21-point deficit and tied the game at 42-42. His second of the two 4th-quarter scores was a 39-yard run to paydirt. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry against The Rock. In total, the Golden Rams managed to net 237 rushing yards.
