Sarah Boyd (St. Petersburg, Fla.) had a great week as she began her week in a big way earning ECAC DII Gymnastics Specialist of the Week honors after nailing her routine on the balance beam in the season opening Quad meet on January 13^th. Boyd built off this early season success on Sunday afternoon when she won the balance beam at Ursinus as she achieved a score of 9.8 for the second weekend in a row in this event. Her victory played an important role in leading the Golden Rams to a 191.725-186.8 victory over Ursinus. This 191.725 point showing is the first time this winter that the Golden Rams have pushed past the 190-mark. West Chester will return to Sturzebecker Health Science Center this Saturday afternoon when they host SUNY Cortland and Rhode Island College beginning at 1 pm.
