Kyle Irwin (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) played well this past week against Slippery Rock in what was a must-win game for the West Chester University baseball team in the PSAC Tournament. Irwin went 2-for-3 with a hit by pitch and an RBI to help keep West Chester in the game throughout. Unfortunately, a late game offensive explosion from Slippery Rock sealed the Golden Rams fate as they fell by a final score of 14-4, which led to their elimination from the PSAC Tournament. The Golden Rams will be back in action later this week in the NCAA Tournament.
