Alyssa Herion (Avon Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) had another strong week this past week as she went 4-for-8 against Gannon in the Atlantic Region Super Regionals with three runs scored and three runs batted in. In the first game of the Super Regionals, Herion went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored to help lift West Chester to the 8-2 victory. She followed this up by going 3-for-4 in game two with two runs scored, two RBIs and one home run to help propel the Golden Rams to an 8-3 victory an the Atlantic Region title. The home run in game two also moves Herion into a tie for first on the career home run leaderboard. West Chester will be back in action on Thursday afternoon in the National Finals against Angelo State in Salem, Va. with that game scheduled to get underway at 1:30 p.m.
