Gabrielle Troisi (Norristown, Pa./Pope John Paul II) performed well once again this week ending the week averaging 17.5 points per game and eight rebounds per contest to help West Chester go 1-1 on the week. On Wednesday night against U Sciences, Troisi was the Golden Rams leading scorer as she ended the contest with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in a hard fought 77-70 loss to the No. 14 ranked Devils. On Saturday, Troisi matched her season double-double total from last year with her second double-double of the season just two weeks into 2018 as she scored 19 points while also pulling down 10 rebounds to go along with six assists, one block and one steal in West Chester’s 88-78 victory over Salem. Following the two games this week, Troisi has also managed to shoot over 50 percent from the field for three consecutive games after shooting 58.3 % on Wednesday night and 57.1 % on Saturday afternoon.
