Matt Baer hit .533 (8-15) for the week with a 1.267 slg pct. His grand slam in game one of a four-game series with Kutztown led to a 5-1 victory. He homered again in the final game of the series, leading West Chester to a win. His third home run of the week came against Wilmington in the Bill Giles Invitational championship game played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. In all, Baer was 6-for-11 with 6 RBI in four games against Kutztown to keep the Bears two games back in the league standings.
