CALIFORNIA, Pa. – At the PSAC West crossover being hosted by California, (Pa.) Saturday afternoon, West Chester lost to host Cal, 3-0, in the first of two matches on the second and final day of competition.
The Golden Rams (23-8) kept themselves in each of the games, but ultimately didn’t prevail as Cal (25-3) won the match, 30-21, 30-23, 30-23.
In the match, Kristen Decker recorded 10 kills and 27 assists, and Jenna Burd recorded 10 kills and 10 digs. Ashley Focht recorded 10 kills and two aces. Jacqueline Vivanco recorded 15 digs.
West Chester will continue in league action later on when they face Slippery Rock at California at 4 p.m.
