West Chester Men's Swimming Takes Season Opener, 163-90

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – West Chester’s men’s swimming team also was inpressive with wins in every event, including a 1,2,3 sweep in the 400 medley relay to set the tone for its 163-90 victory over host Shippensburg Saturday afternoon.

Senior Marek Malopolski broke the Donnie Miller pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a 58.66-second time on the way to four wins.

The Golden Rams (1-0) looked very impressive in their season opener as West Chester prepares to defend its PSAC title from a year ago. The Rams also finished seventh at the NCAA Division II championships.
