West Chester Field Hockey Falls At Ursinus, 4-3

Box Score

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.
- Ursinus' Jessica Zatwarnicki scored just a little over six minutes into overtime to lift the hosts to a 4-3 overtime victory over visiting West Chester Sunday afternoon.

Sarah Conrad posted her second hat trick of the season, matching her career-high for goals in a game but it was not enough for the Golden Rams (3-7) to overcome the top-ranked team in the country in Division III.

Conrad's third goal of the game with under 10 minutes left to play in the game forced the extra session. The senior co-captain scored twice in the second half to complete a two-goal comeback for West Chester. She also tied the score at 1-1 in the first half.

Goalkeeper Joelle Zarefoss registered 12 saves, but suffered the loss. She stopped seven shots in the first half, keeping the Golden Rams in the contest for the first 35 minutes.

West Chester enters Atlantic 10 play next Friday with a contest at Massachusetts at 3 p.m.
