WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester kicked off the second day of the WCU Volleyball Tournament at Hollinger Field House by rolling past Goldey-Beacom, 3-0 (30-10, 30-9, 30-12).
The win continued the Golden Rams’ season-opening unbeaten string to 12 straight matches, while the Lightning fell to 1-7 on the year.
Kristen Decker recorded a double-double, leading the team with 10 kills and adding 12 digs. She also chipped in six service aces. Lacie Becher registered nine kills and made three solo blocks.
Jacqueline Vivanco registered 15 digs in the match and tallied four service aces.
Lisa Yeasted recorded 36 assists for the Golden Rams. Ashley Zech added 12 digs.
West Chester concludes tournament action at 2 p.m. when it faces Nyack.
