UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State swept all 15 events en route to an easy 219-63 non-league women’s swimming dual meet Friday night.
Jackie Borkowski recorded two second-place finishes and Danielle Ierley hit an NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 1000-yard freestyle to highlight the women’s meet. Ierley placed fourth overall with a time of 10:44.76.
Borkowski was runner up in both the 50 free (24.43) and the 100 free (52.91) for the Golden Rams (5-1).
Diver Heather Varas was third off the 1-meter springboard with a composite score of 236.85 and second off the 3-m board with a score of 260.47.
West Chester travels to Southern Connecticut State University Saturday for another dual meet on their current road trip this weekend.
