BETHLEHEM, Pa. – West Chester turned in a powerful performance on the road in a 161-124 non-league win over Division I Lehigh in women’s swimming action Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams jumped out early and never really looked back on the strong individual efforts of Jackie Borkowski (winner in the 100m backstroke, 58.43 seconds, 50m free, 24.98, 200m back 2:10.13 and anchor of the winning 400 free relay).
Erin Fischer (winner in the 100m butterfly with a 58.71, the 200m fly with a 2:12.07, and the 200m individual medley with a 2:15.17), Megan Bauer (winner in the 1000m free with a 10:39.74, and the 100m free with a 53.77), and Danielle Ierley (second to Bauer in the 1000 with a 10:44.63, and winner in the 500 free with a 5:11.97).
