EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The second-ranked West Chester Golden Rams women's soccer team extended its shutout string with another blanking over host East Stroudsburg, 2-0, Saturday in a PSAC East showdown with the Warriors.
West Chester (5-0) has yet to be scored upon after putting up its fifth straight donut for the opposing team. The string of consecutive minutes without allowing a goal rose to 450 minutes with Saturday's latest triumph. Hilary Smart made four saves in goal for the Rams.
Sarah Oswald tallied in the 25th minute, and Brittany Yetter scored in the 75th minute to lift West Chester to the win.
Janine Turcio made five saves in goal for ESU.
West Chester is off until next Saturday when the Golden Rams travel to Indiana, Pa. to take on IUP.
