MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Seventh-ranked West Chester scored twice in the final 20 minutes of the contest to break a 0-0 tie and down host Millersville in a PSAC East women's soccer showdown.
West Chester (12-1-1, 9-1 PSAC East) took one more step towards clinching the Eastern Division.
Brittany Couper lobbed a shot from 30 yards out over the outstretched arms of Millersville's goalkeeper for the game-winner. Jen Gangl then added the insurance tally five minutes later for the Golden Rams.
Freshman goalkeeper Lyndsie Bernardini tied the school record for shutouts in a season with 10. She made two saves in the win.
