Box Score

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa.
- Sarah Oswald scored off an assist from Sam Paolino in the 59th minute to lift West Chester to a 1-0 women's soccer victory over host East Stroudsburg on a rainy Saturday night in the regular-season finale for both schools.

West Chester (16-1-1, 11-1 PSAC East) wrapped up the top seed in the postseason tournament a few weeks ago. They will host fourth-seeded Bloomsburg on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. at the South Campus Field in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament. Bloomsburg, who lost to Kutztown on Saturday, 1-0, snuck into the playoffs by virtue of Millersville's 1-0 overtime upset of Shippensburg. East Stroudsburg (11-6-2, 5-5-2) is the third seed in the tournament and will travel to Kutztown (13-4-2, 8-3-1) in another quarterfinal round matchup.

Lyndsie Bernardini made four saves, recording her 15th shutout on the year and her 16th win in goal. She carries a consecutive shutout streak of 1,134 minutes into the postseason as a result of the win. It marked West Chester's 12th straight shutout victory as the Golden Rams finished the regular season with just two goals against on the year.

Oswald notched her team-high eighth goal of the season. She also leads the team with 28 points on the year.
