BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - West Chester University's Women's swimming team defeated host Bloomsburg by a score of 171-91 Saturday afternoon.
Senior Megan Bauer was a triple-event winner, capturing the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 57.54 seconds, the 100 free in 54.63 and the 200 Individual Medley in 2:14.75. Freshman Mia Barone won both the 100 butterfly (1:01.88) and the 200 fly (2:14.71). Other event winners included: freshman Skyler Doss in the 1650 free (18:11.91), sophomore Jess Healy in the 100 backstroke (1:02.77), junior Leah Varvaro in the 50 free (25.08), senior Jillian Murphy in the 200 back (2:10.65) and sophomore Nicole DiBonaventura in the 500 free (5:23.06).
The WCU 400 free relay of Mia Barone, Kristen Montello, Jillian Murphy, and Erin Fischer took first with a time of 3:41.99.
