CLERMONT, Fla. - Evelyn Anderson was 3-for-4 and Brooke Muth 3-for-4 with two doubles as West Chester continued its winning ways at the NTC Complex in Clermont, Fla., with a 7-2 vicctory over Bentley Monday afternoon.
West Chester (9-2) is on a six-game winning streak after taking down Grand Valley State in the first game on Monday.
Anderson, who collected the game-winning RBI in that win over GVSU, continued to swing the hot stick for the Golden Rams in the nightcap against Bentley. She also scored a run and stole two bases in the win. Stef Kerbacher went 2-for-4 at the plate, along with Missy Schwartz.
Schwartz threw three innings in relief, after starting the game as the designated player, to pick up the save. Sam Soprano (2-0) earned the win on the mound, going four innings in the start and allowing just one run.
The Golden Rams face West Liberty Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. before taking on No. 6 Winona State in the afternoon.
