No. 12 West Chester Shuts Out Lock Haven, 2-0

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
- The 12th-ranked West Chester Golden Rams scored a goal in each half and held host Lock Haven to just two shots the entire game en route to a 2-0 shutout in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's soccer match Wednesday afternoon.

West Chester (3-0, 1-0 PSAC) has yet to be scored upon in 2010 with its third shutout of the season over Lock Haven (1-1, 0-1). Sophomore goalkeeper Lyndsie Bernardini recorded her 17th career shutout to tie for fourth all-time on the Rams' list. She did not have to make a save in picking up the win.

Jessica Bennett scored just before halftime after a  long run down the left side. Freshman Marie D'Angelo then notched her first college goal in the 57th minute to double the visitor's lead. 

Hayley Zinn made seven saves for Lock Haven in goal. 

West Chester will host Slippery Rock on Saturday after the men's game. The women's game is expected to start at approximately 2:30 p.m.
