No. 3 West Chester Rallies To Defeat No. 8 Kutztown, 3-1

WEST CHESTER, Pa.
- Brynn Adams scored the game-winning goal and assisted on the other two tallies as host West Chester scored two unanswered goals in the second half to come away with a 3-1 victory over visiting Kutztown at chilly Vonnie Gros Field Friday night in the regular season finale for both schools.

West Chester (14-3, 8-2 PSAC East) finished in second place in the Eastern Division and will play either Kutztown (10-8, 4-6 PSAC East) or C.W. Post on Tuesday afternoon at home at Vonnie Gros Field in the PSAC Quarterfinals.

Both of the Golden Rams' goals came off corner opporunities. Adams was standing on the near post, framing the cage when she tipped a shot by Kayla Gluchowski into an open net in the 61st minute. Five minutes later, Adams, standing in the exact same place, lifted a pass across the goal mouth to teammate Alisha Moran, who  banged home the insurance tally.

Kristin Arnold made four saves in the cage for West Chester, two coming righ in succession early on in the second half with the game still tied at 1-1. Adams was also credited with a defensive save. Kutztown's Emily Falko made six saves on the night while Amy Dando was also credited with a defensive save in the first half.

West Chester held a decided advantage in corners (15-4).
