ERIE, Pa. - The top-ranked Golden Rams laid out a dominating performance with an 8-1 victory over Mercyhurst Saturday afternoon.
Kelsi Lykens led the way for the Golden Rams (9-1) with a hat trick and an assist for 11 points. Stef Pirri, Alexis Versak, Kelsey Cheek, Nancy Stehman, and Michele Schrift all joined in on the scoring spree with a goal apiece. PIrri and Stehman also contributed with two assists. The Golden Rams were relentless on the offensive end, pouring in 27 shots to Mercyhurst’s two in the victory.
West Chester held a 3-0 lead at halftime and potted five goals in the second half to put the game away.
The Golden Rams continue their hot streak this Wednesday October, 3 where they will face visiting Kutztown at 4:00 p.m. at Vonnie Gros Field.
