West Chester Joins National Foundation For Cancer ResearchTo Play4theCure Wednesday

West Chester, Pa.  West Chester University's field hockey team has joined hands with the National Foundation for Cancer Research to participate in its fundraising campaign titled "Play4theCure". The Golden Rams will be raising funds during their game versus Kutztown on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at 4 p.m.
 
Play4theCure is a nationwide initiative inviting individuals to participate by committing to donate proceeds from at least one field hockey game to the NFCR.
 
West Chester will be collecting donations and selling wristbands at a table located at the top of the bleacher seating area. Wristbands will be sold for $2 each. The field hockey squad will also be selling a limited number of pink t-shirts for $20 apiece.
