WEST CHESTER, Pa. –
Dallas Ely scored 23 points, and
Brittany Sicinski added 16, as host West Chester University rolled to a 92-62 victory over visiting Mansfield University Saturday afternoon in a PSAC East women's basketball contest inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (14-6, 9-1 PSAC East) picked up its third straight win to remain in first place in the conference standings. It was also the Golden Rams' eighth straight win in the all-time series with Mansfield (0-20, 0-10).

Ely, the PSAC's leading scorer, eclipsed 20 points for the third consecutive game and 10th time this season overall. West Chester landed five players in double figures, including four of the starters.

The Golden Rams left little in doubt right from the opening tip, racing out to a 20-6 lead seven minutes into the contest. West Chester hit on 9 of its first 13 shots from the field. Ely and Sicinski each put up seven points during the opening run.

West Chester never trailed in the contest and never let the lead slip under double digits once it established its first 10-point lead of the game five minutes into the tilt. The Golden Rams' 9-1 start is the first time since 2006-07 that they have won nine of their first 10 league contests.

Sicinski's 16 points put her over 600 in her two-year career at West Chester. She now has 604 career points in 46 games.
Anna Kuntz (10 points) pulled down 10 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the year.
Kendall Benovy chipped in 16 points as well.
Emily Torrence posted 10 points off the bench for the Golden Rams.

Mansfield was led by Katie Fitzpatrick's 23 points and Jena Matter's 20. That duo accounted for 69 percent of the Mountaineers' offense. Matter had a double-double, contributing 12 rebounds to the cause.

West Chester will host Millersville on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. in another PSAC East showdown. It will be the Golden Rams' first home game during the week since Friday, Jan. 3 against Mercyhurst.
