Box Score MANSFIELD, Pa. –Â
Mariah Powell (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) scored a season high 13 points, and West Chester finished with five players in double figures, to defeat host Mansfield University ,79-51, in a PSAC women's basketball contest inside Decker Gym Saturday afternoon.

West Chester (15-3, 11-3 PSAC) was down early by as many as five, but battled back to go on a 13-4 spurt later in the half and take an eight-point lead heading into the break. The Golden Rams were off the races in the second half, beginning with another 13-4 run to stretch the advantage to a comfortable lead, and then cruised to a 26-point win.

The Mountaineers (1-16, 0-13 PSAC) led for most of the first half, but a 29.7 percent shooting effort overall for the game, coupled with the Golden Rams' bench outscoring the Mounties, 34-15 , sealed their fate in the end.

Powell came off the bench to score her 13 points with 10 in the second half. Powell hit double digits for the third game in a row and is averaging 12 points per contest over that stretch.
Chikisha Steele-Hook (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Twp.) and
Porscha Speller (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) each added 12 points and combined for seven rebounds. Speller had three steals in the game as well. Speller has been in double figures in three of her last four as well.

Anna Kuntz (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) chipped in with 11 points, shooting 5-for-6 for the field, to go with six rebounds.
Brittany Sicinski (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) continued her quest for 1,000 career points by scoring 11 points. She also grabbed four rebounds and three assists.

Dallas Ely (Montrose, Pa./Montrose) matched a career high with 11 rebounds, to go with six points, four assists and two steals in the victory.

Mountaineers' Katie Fitzpatrick led the team with 15 points and seven rebounds. Tianna Jackson and Maria Kelleher combined shooting 7-for-15 for 11 points each.Â

The Golden Rams will take their four-game win streak to Millersville on Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip against the Marauders as a part of their four-game road trip.
