Marnie Kusakavitch (Pittston, Pa./Holy Redeemer) scored both of West Chester's goals, but visiting Kutztown held on for a 3-2 victory at Vonnie Gros Field in a PSAC field hockey showdown Tuesday afternoon.
West Chester (10-3, 3-3 PSAC) dropped its first home game of the season while Kutztown (11-3, 6-1 PSAC) kept pace in the league standings.
Kusakavitch scored both her goals in the second half with each drawing the Golden Rams to within a goal. However, the hosts could not get the equalizer either time.
