Meet ResultsWEST CHESTER, Pa. – Tess Hayward (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) won three events, but it was not enough to stop visiting Oklahoma Baptist to a 54-32 victory over West Chester University Friday evening at Graham Natatorium.

Hayward won the 100-yard freestyle and the 200 free while anchoring the 200 free relay team that also took first place. The Golden Rams won each of the relays in Friday's non-conference meet. Hayward touched the wall in the 100 free in 53.30 seconds while touching out in the 200 free in 1:55.72 to capture that event. The 200 free relay consisted of teammates
Emily Stang (Allentown, Pa./Parkland),
Sydney Wareham (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) and
Morgan Haney (Lititz, Pa./Warwick).

Wareham was also a winner for the Golden Rams on Friday, taking first place in the 500 free.

Emelie Johansson (Taby, Sweden) was runner-up in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.42. Johansson also placed third in the 500 free behind Wareham and
Dani Barron (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge), making it a clean sweep of the top three spots in that distance event for WCU. Wareham was runner-up behind Hayward in the 200 free (1:57.72).

West Chester's 200 medley relay team consisting of
Abigail Buckley (Aberdeen, N.J./Matawan Aberdeen), Haney,
Lovisa Malin Nyman (Umea, Sweden) and Stang posted a winning time of 1:55.72.

West Chester returns to the waters at Graham Natatorium next Friday for a tri-meet with Bloomsburg and Division I Lehigh University.
