Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester's Women's' Soccer team secured the second seed heading into the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament after a huge 2-1 win over Seton Hill inside Rockwell Field Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (14-3-0, 13-3-0) went on to score both goals in first half and would go on to outshoot Seton Hill, 15-9, for the game. Seton Hill (7-10-1, 5-10-1) was limited to four shots on goal and could not place the second in for the tie.

Haley Mangiaruga (North Wales, Pa. / North Penn) directly in front of the net. Parvel then contributed with an assist to
Scarlett Walsh (Philadelphia, Pa. / Archbishop Ryan) who caught the Griffins' defense off guard making a cut toward the goal. It was Walsh's sixth goal on the year, which turned out to be the game winner in the victory.
Griffins' Emma Bearinger recorded her sixth goal of the season in the 53
rd minute to cut the lead to one.
Prior to kick off, WCU celebrated Senior Day as the Golden Rams recognized their two senior defenders in
Erika Schrock (Camp Hill, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) and
Sarah Bennis (Lancaster, Pa. / Penn Manor). Together both have helped transform the defense into the top defense in the conference, registering 11 shutouts in a total of 17 games this season.
West Chester will host a quarterfinal match to open up PSAC-tournament play against an opponent to be determined on Nov. 3rd at 1 p.m. inside Rockwell Field.
