Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – No. 3 West Chester fell to No. 1 East Stroudsburg, 3-1, in the semifinals of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament at Whitenight Field Friday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (16-4) were unable to get anything started in the offensive zone as they were limited to single-digit shots (9) for just the third time this season. East Stroudsburg took advantage and began to put pressure on WCU's defense, forcing a 16-2 margin in penalty corners, including 11 in the second period.

Alayna Brown (Telford, Pa./Souderton) recorded her second goal of the season to knot the game at one-apiece going into halftime. Sophomore goalkeeper
Brianna Magner (Egg Harbor, N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) registered five saves in 55 minutes of action.
Sarah Krause (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) posted four saves the remainder of the way for the Golden Rams.
East Stroudsburg advances to take on Millersville in the PSAC Championship Game, which will be played Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Whitenight Field. The Warriors handed the Marauders their lone loss of teh season in the team's regular-season meeting.
West Chester now awaits its fate by the NCAA committee with the Division II Field Hockey Selection Show on Monday at 1 p.m.
