Golden Rams Classic - Complete ResultsWEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester's women racked up six first-place finishes, but it was not enough to overcome visiting Ursinus as the Golden Rams finished runner-up to the Bears in its own Golden Rams Classic inside the Graham Natatorium Saturday morning.
West Chester (4-3) amassed 734 points, falling just short of Ursinus' 884. Albright was third with 207 points.
Tess Hayward (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) won three of the six events, including an impressive time in the 1650-yard freestyle, which is not typically her event. Hayward was victorious in the 1650 free in 17 minutes, 16.36 seconds and then followed up with a win in the 50 free (24.60) and the 100 free (53.39).
Abigail Buckley (Aberdeen, N.J./Aberdeen Matawan) won the 200 backstroke (2:09.05) while
Emelie Johansson (Taby, Sweden) won both the 200 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley (2:09.55).
