Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Concord right-handed pitcher Allie Reid kept West Chester's hitters in check as the Mountain Lions secured a 3-1 victory over the Golden Rams in the opening game of the 2015 NCAA DII Atlantic Region 2 Tournament Friday afternoon at Culpepper Field.

West Chester (40-13) allowed a pair of runs in the first inning and one more in the second. But that is all Concord (34-17) needed for Reid (11-4), who tossed a four-hitter at the Rams. West Chester will play again on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against the loser of West Virginia Wesleyan vs. Seton Hill.

Cat Hammer (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) hit a pinch-hit home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to account for the lone Golden Rams' run.

Amanda Houck (Gap, Pa./Pequea Valley) (19-7) suffered the loss inside the circle. She started the game and lasted four innings, before being replaced by classmate
Brooke Harner (Chadds Ford, Pa./Kennett). Houck allowed three runs on three hits while walking two and striking out four. Harner finished up without allowing a run or a hit. She struck out two batters without yielding a walk.
