Taylor Jamison (Honeybrook, Pa./Twin Valley) scored her first goal as part of the Purple & Gold for the game-winner to lead visiting West Chester over host Mercyhurst, 2-1, Friday afternoon at the MU Soccer Complex.

Mercyhurst's (0-2-1, 0-2-1 PSAC) Kristina Roberti scored the lone goal for the Lakers at the end of the first half to cut West Chester's lead in half.

Scarlett Walsh (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) opened up the scoring with her first goal of the season in the 18th minute. Jamison then doubled the Rams' lead in the 24th minute. Teammate

Alex Srolis (Chester Springs, Pa. / Downingtown East) started and played all 90 minutes for the third-straight game, while letting in one goal on four shots and making three saves.
