NEW YORK, Pa.  – Georgia Wright was a triple winner for West Chester University's women's swimming & diving squad, but host New York University proved to be too much at home in a 181.5-118.5 victory Saturday afternoon.

Wright won the 1000-yard freestyle in 10 minutes, 36.15 seconds while also picking up wins in the 200 backstroke and the 500 free. Her three wins were part of six first-place showings for the Golden Rams. Taylor Hoover was fifth behind Wright in the 1000 free.

Mikaela Lantz won the 50 free. Emelie Johannson won the 200 breaststroke. Nadia Mulder won the 3-meter springboard diving competition for West Chester's other top finishes.

West Chester put swimmers in second and third in the 100 butterfly. Meghan Keithly was runner-up while Lantz was third. The Golden Rams took third, fourth and fifth in the 200 free as well.

West Chester's 200 medley relay team was runner-up and its 400 free relay team was second as well.
