Kendall Benovy (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) led four players in double figures as visiting West Chester defeated host Kutztown, 87-77, in the regular-season finale inside Keystone Arena Wednesday evening.

West Chester (20-6, 17-5 PSAC) wins the PSAC Eastern Division for the first time since 2009 and the first time outright since 2004. Kutztown (10-15, 7-15) finished the regular season in seventh place and will miss the playoffs. The Golden Rams receive a bye in the first round of the 2016 PSAC Tournament and will host the winner of Bloomsburg at East Stroudsburg on Tuesday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Hollinger Field House.

Benovy posted a double-double with a team-high 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Brittany Sicinski (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) was one of three players to notch 13 points in the contest. She moved past Kiesha Mack (2000-05) and into second place on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,560 career points.
Dallas Ely (Montrose, Pa./Montrose) also netted 13 points. She is the school's current all-time leading scorer with 1,574 career points.
Anna Kuntz (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) also scored 13 points in the game. Sicinski added nine assists to her game Wednesday as well.

West Chester, which led by as many as 25 in the game, never trailed. Kutztown made a late run to get the game back to within 10 points, but ran out of time in its comeback bid. The Golden Rams shot 50 percent in the tilt and limited Kutztown to just 35 percent.

Tickets to the PSAC Tournament second-round games at West Chester will be $7 for adults and $2 for students. Students from PSAC member institutions will be admitted free of charge with a valid ID.
